**Greatest need for volunteers; we are always looking for more! These teams are an easy way to meet others as well.**

Sunday service teams help congregants enter into worship by ensuring that service logistics run smoothly. Generally, we ask people to serve at one service each month. But you’re welcome to serve more, or less regularly as a substitute on an as-needed basis.

Hospitality Team: Helps make church a welcoming place and creates an atmosphere of community through food and fellowship after Sunday services. Tasks include setting up fellowship time, prepping food and beverages, and cleaning up. Contact: hospitality [at]

Service Team: Helps with ushering, greeting, and service logistics; prays for service; arrives 45 minutes before service starts. Contact: service [at]

PowerPoint Team: Sets up/puts away equipment, runs slides, and arrives 30 minutes before service starts. No previous experience needed—we’ll train you! Contact: laura [at]

Sound Team: Manages the sound system; works primarily with worship team; arrives 1-1.5 hours before service. No previous experience needed—we’ll train you! Contact: admin [at]

House Churches are CCFC's small group ministry and they are the primary place where we hope that individuals and families will grow as followers of Jesus, together. If you're interested in becoming a house church leader or coordinator, email housechurch [at]

uNet supports the spiritual lives of congregants ages 17-23 through fellowship and resources. Contact: unet [at]


PEN Ministry reaches out to CCFCers (through letters and jail visits) who are currently incarcerated. Contact: pen [at]

The Urban Missions Committee seeks to encourage and equip CCFCers to learn about, care for, and be involved in God’s work in our surrounding community. If you are interested in becoming involved in CCFC’s vision for urban missions, email umc [at] The UMC also oversees these CCFC/partner ministries which offer volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

The Wednesday Night Neighborhood Group meets weekly and is focused on investing in relationships with Central Square youth and their families, and providing spiritual and life mentorship and guidance to attendees. The group is an extension of the bigger CCFC body, working in partnership with the church to identify and support the varying needs of the youth, their families, and our surrounding neighborhood in general. Contact: wednight [at]

Soccer Nights is an annual weeklong soccer camp for kids in Central Square that CCFC has co-led for several years. Learn more at here or email soccernights1 [at]


Kids Church is a place where every child can come and learn about God, but also be loved and affirmed for who God made them to be. Email kids [at] to serve as a nursery volunteer or teacher on Sundays during our 9 a.m. service or on Wednesday nights for our neighborhood group.

Children's Outreach coordinates our annual Vacation Bible School and Harvest Carnival events. Contact: childrensoutreach [at]

The Families Ministry Team coordinates communication with CCFC families, thinks through building community and support amongst the families, prays for the families, and organizes events and activities. Contact: families [at]
